Thanksgiving in Atlanta

I took Molly and Betty to see where I grew up over Thanksgiving.

I am moving into a duplex. So my computer at home has no access to the internet, and therefore no pictures here for a while. I do have 2 I want to share.

This first one is the Ariel cake I made for Breaunah's birthday in July.

Frisky vs the humming bird

Well, Friday evening was interesting. Frisky was begging to come inside, so I opened the front door and in she ran. Next thing I knew, she was on the back of the futon attacking something at the window... which I at first assumed was a moth or fly. But I realized whatever it was, it was too big for my assumptions, so I investigated only to find a humming bird! How did that get in here? I threw Frisky out of the house (she was very mad at me) before figuring out how to rescue the poor thing. I finally succeeded in catching it in a box and releasing it outside.

After much thought, I decided Frisky must have caught it in her mouth while it was eating from the flowers by the steps, and then realizing she couldn't release it outside, she brought it inside to play with!

The Coast

After our weekend at Drift Creek, we stop in Lincoln City for some sand play and to eat at the famous Mo's. Here are a few pictures of Christian and Breaunah having fun.

Summer Camp

It has become a family tradition for me to take my grandchildren that are old enough to the "Parent and Me" weekend at my church camp, Drift Creek Camp. Christian and Breaunah went this year. Here are a few pictures.

Breaunah's cabin won Sunday morning's "polar bear swim"

since every one in the cabin participated.

We spent Saturday afternoon building bird houses.
